What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Head of Primary to join our team in August 2024

Main Responsibilities:

Work alongside the Head of Primary for self-review and evaluation in order to drive school improvement. Effective planning and management of resources to secure improvements to meet the UAE National Agenda targets.Champion the ethos and values of Al Salam.Oversee the Key Stage leaders and Year leaders and help manage other staff and resources to ensure the smooth operational running of the primary school.Work with Subject leaders and other school leaders to review, enhance and implement pastoral support and care, wellbeing and enrichment programmes.Undertaking teaching and other professional duties as reasonably delegated by the Head of the Primary.Position Requirements:

Education:

Master's degree, Teaching certification, NPQH or equivalent Educational leadership qualification.

Experience:

Three years of school management/leadership in a similar setting.

Competencies & Skills:

Knowledge of international accreditation, inspection and evaluation frameworksExperience in child protection, health and safetyExperience in developing, planning and delivering excellent provisionHighly effective relationship management with a variety of stakeholdersDisplay a high level of professional competence in all areas of responsibilityCollaborative team player and strategic thinkerAble to convert vision into actionFlexible and capable of managing growth and instilling high standards, adept in multilingual settings.
