Currently, we are on the lookout for a skilled audit professional to join our Group Audit team as an Assistant Manager - Internal Audit.

Overview of the role

  • Evaluate internal controls, compliance with company policies, asset safeguarding, resource utilization, information reliability, and business objective achievement through Operational and Financial Audits as per the annual audit plan.

What you will do

Audit Plans and Programs

  • Assist in developing the annual audit plan and specific audit programs for each assignment, assessing risks and outlining controls and tests to be performed.

Operational and Financial Audit

  • Conduct audits to assess internal control systems, compliance with policies, authorization processes, and asset protection.

Audit Reports and Records

  • Document audit work in the Audit Management system, prepare detailed audit reports, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders promptly.
  • Facilitate follow-up on the implementation of audit recommendations.

Computer Assisted Audit

  • Utilize computer-based audit techniques to enhance audit coverage and analysis.

Human Resource Development

  • Adhere to professional standards, internal audit norms, and contribute to the continuous improvement of audit processes.

Special Assignments

  • Undertake consulting assignments as per management requests to address specific situations or establish facts.

Frauds, Misappropriations, etc.

  • Conduct fraud investigations, identify control weaknesses, and suggest preventive measures.

Required skills to be successful

  • Thorough understanding of internal controls, auditing standards, and proficiency in data analytics.
  • Strong communication and report writing skills, self-driven approach, ability to work independently, influence stakeholders positively, and multitask effectively.
  • Exposure to ERP software like SAP and Oracle, familiarity with data analytics tools like ACL, and audit management systems.

What equips you for the role

  • Qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CPA, ACA), ACCA, MBA (FINANCE), CIA, CFA, coupled with a minimum of 3 years of experience in internal audit.
