We are seeking a dynamic and committed Primary Computing Teacher to join us in August 2023.Over the past five years RAK Academy Family of Schools has grown significantly and our reputation for developing academic achievement and is well known as one of the international school of choice in Ras Al Khaimah.

International Primary Khuzam (IPK)

Located in the center of Ras Al Khaimah city in the suburb of Khuzam. IPK is a large

primary school delivering an adapted international Baccalaureate (IB) Primary

Years programme (PYP) from Pre-K to Grade 5 (FS1 to Year 6) and the UAE MOE

(IBO), benchmarked against leading IBO world schools.
- have a track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice and be able to engage, motivate and support children, staff and parents.
- have experience working with block-based programming languages such as Scratch. Experience of textual programming languages such as Python will be considered an added plus.
- have experience working with microcontroller or robotic hardware such as BBC Micro:bit, Crumble, EV3, Sphero, etc.
- is passionate about Computer Science, Programming, and Technology in general.
- have a good ability to use IT to support teaching and learning.
- be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovate and be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff.
- be keen to be involved in extra-curricular activities and after school programs.
