As Assistant Group IT Manager at Mouawad reporting to the Head of IT, you'll ensure seamless IT operations, collaborating across departments to oversee software, hardware, and network systems. Your key responsibility will involve managing and enhancing organizational applications (ERP/CRM and other internal platforms), ensuring alignment with business needs and industry standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure that internal applications at Mouawad meet business needs and industry standards while maintaining quality and performance benchmarks.

Support project planning and execution for application-related tasks, ensuring they adhere to scope and defined timelines.

Collaborate with the team to identify, understand, and permanently resolve technical issues, aiming for continuous improvement.

Lead gap development initiatives with developers to enhance application performance and user experience.

Monitor API-related jobs and services daily, reporting on their efficient functionality.

Develop and update charts, dashboards, and troubleshoot data-related errors to enhance efficiency.

Document processes and procedures, facilitating seamless utilization by business users.

Integrate applications with existing systems, ensuring smooth functionality and data flow.

Manage user access rights as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Conduct regular backups and provide technical assistance for hardware/network-related IT issues.

Set up new user accounts, handle password issues, and provide system setup assistance.

Monitor devices to ensure systems are free from threats, and take action to address flagged alerts.

Troubleshoot escalated network, firewall, and antivirus-related requests.

Manage Office 365 Portal, troubleshoot security logs, and take action to address threats.

Monitor daily data backups and ensure their safe storage on separate servers/networks.

Create project documentation, briefs, and departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Provide training to the team on system usage from an IT standpoint.

Manage user access rights as per SOPs.

Needed Technical Skills and Competencies:

Prior experience with Microsoft AX ERP and Retail POS (3-4 years).

Experience with Salesforce Stack (CRM, Commerce Cloud, Marketing Cloud) (2-3 years).

Proficiency in Tableau (desktop) for chart and dashboard development (2-3 years).

Expertise in tools like SSIS, SSMS, Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc., and ability to create procedures and run queries.

Understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, AJAX, JQuery, web analytics, XML, open-source packages/libraries).

Strong knowledge of application development, implementation, or management with leadership abilities.

Understanding of SDLC, project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), ITIL Framework, DevOps.

Knowledge of IT infrastructure (networking, servers, storage technologies, virtualization, cloud computing).

Experience in implementing security protocols and disaster recovery plans.

Proven work experience in managing similar application stacks and prioritizing tasks/projects based on operational impact.

Candidate Persona:

Logical thinker with prioritization skills for tasks/projects based on organizational impact and urgency.

Ability to make informed decisions and adapt to changing technologies in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent English communication skills, willingness to train non-technical personnel, and collaborate effectively.

Strong multitasking abilities, result-oriented, and a proactive team player with a confident and dynamic personality.

Educational Qualification:

Minimum: Bachelors degree in Technology (Masters degree preferred)
