Currently, we are currently looking for a passionate and energetic Jr. Project Manager to be based in Contract Logistics. In this role, the successful candidate will To liaise with the Customer and study the requirements, defining the scope, plan, develop, manage and control the End To End implementation process using standard project management methodology for all new businesses and ad hoc projects (project initiated from Contract Logistics and DGF business units), through all phases of implementation i.e. Define, Plan, Implementation, Transition and Control within agreed project times lines and budgets ensuring successful project implementation and Customer Satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for managing small to medium size projects of implementing new customers, existing business expansion and ad-hoc customer projects that covers system implementation, warehouse setup/expansion, process improvement, operation relocation and customer account termination( manage end to end implementation process). Profile of the customers includes local, SMC, CSI and MNC.
Liaise with all related stakeholders i.e. Client, Project Sponsor/Owner, Project Team and third parties/vendors as a single point of contact to coordinate and integrate activities across multiple functional lines/ work streams for the flawless execution of the projects.
Responsible for working with cross functional teams and manage a team of 5-10 work stream leads/team managers mainly sales, finance, warehouse operations, freight forwarding, IT, customs, HR, HSS, facility/procurement etc.) to ensure a single integrated project plan is base-lined with agreed, realistic and achievable deliverables to enable progress measurement against set criteria and outline impacts related to changes.
Lead the project team to review the status of the project plan with reference to the budgets, concerns/ risks and changes to ensure necessary decisions / actions are taken by relevant stakeholders in keeping with project time lines.

Manage and control the project cost and timeline throughout the project life cycle and ensure that the project is completed as per the agreed budget and timeline. Also analyze the areas and find opportunities where the cost can be further reduced by shared using of IT equipment, manpower, MHE's and vendor negotiation.
Responsible for risks/issue management such as identification, analysis, response planning, monitoring, controlling, reporting and developing mitigation/contingency plan in conjunction with the stakeholders. Also responsible to manage change requests so that approved changes will be controlled ensuring the project remains on schedule, within budget and provides the agreed deliverables.
Manage and control the day-to-day aspects of the project and identify / follow up on allocation of resources necessary to complete the project to ensure alignment to the overall project governance.
Develop, implement and sustains effective quality management guidelines for all projects to ensure acceptable standards of quality and content for all project deliverables
Conduct or facilitate training sessions, as required, for new/existing employees involved in the business implementation to ensure availability of trained and skilled resources as per schedule timelines.
Liaise with the PMO for Constant monitoring of the best practices in project management to ensure smooth implementation & improved customer satisfaction

Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate from a recognized university preferably in a related discipline i.e. Project Management and / or Logistics and Supply Chain.
Capable of supporting cross functional customer projects
Experience of planning and supporting projects lasting from few weeks to 18 months.
Excellent communication/negotiation and presentation skills.
At least 1-3 years' experience / proven expertise in similar role with a recognized logistics organization with strong influencing skills and Customer focus.
DHL DePICT or any other practiced or recognized PMO certification (preferred).
Versatile and conversant with MS OFFICE and MS Projects
Sound knowledge of IT systems and experience in managing IT projects
