  • Organizes together with the Chefde Partie shifting in the section with regard to mise-en-placeproduction and its service.
  • Takes orders fromhis/her Chef de Partie and carry them out in the correctmanner.
  • Is responsible for completing the dailychecklist regarding mise-en-place and foodstorage.
  • Together with his/her Chef de Partiewrites daily wine, dry store, food requisitions and kitchentransfers on the appropriate forms for the approval of ExecutiveChef/Sous Chef in order to achieve the high stock rotation desiredin his/her section.
  • Maintains goodHeartist's relations and motivateHeartists.
  • Works to the specifications receivedby the Chef de Partie regarding portion size, quantity and qualityas laid down in the recipe index.
  • Attends dailymeeting with the Chef de Partie and other meetings as requested bythe Executive Chef/ Sous Chef.
  • Checks the maininformation board regarding changes in any Banquets or otherinformation regarding the organization.
  • Reportsany problems regarding failure of machinery and small equipment tothe Chef de Partie and to follow up and ensure necessary work hasbeen carried out.
  • Passes all information to thenext shift about functions.
  • Maintains theHygiene and HACCP records in accordance to theregulations.
  • You will adhere toHotel's Hygiene and HACCP standards and ensureit's Standard Operating Procedures and Requirements arefully met.

Qualifications

  • Completed kitchen apprentice or chefstraining courses for at least one year
  • At least2 or 3 years in a five start international chainhotel
  • Should understand how to read recipes anda good knowledge of cooking
  • Good communicationskills
