The purpose of your role:


We've gone through a period of rapid growth and have seen a change in our income streams and cost base.

Against this bac drop is the need for additional support in the organisation for budget and planning processes and support for our ongoing sevice development and longer-term strategy.

You're accountable for...
consolidating our income, expenditure and staffing costs, using our
financial model,
validating and challenging as you go along
maintaining and developing our existing budgeting & forecasting
model, as well as contributing to defining the requirements for our
budgeting and forecasting process.
working with the systems to streamline and drive efficiencies in
reporting and analysis of performance
producing the annual budget and quarterly forecast packs, as well
as concise analysis
for longer term planning.
Develop and maintain the long-term projections of income,
expenditure, cash-flow and balance sheet providing analysis of year
- on-year trends and ratios.
Providing performance insight and identify risks and opportunities.
working with senior stakeholders, taking their ideas, interpreting
them and feeding them into the financial models
assimilating new ideas into the financial models quickly and produce
high quality analysis and presentations under pressure.

Requirements:

Your experience includes:
having experience and in-depth understanding of financial modelling
being a part / qualified accountant
using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to an advanced level
working with a range of modelling and budgeting software ideally,
experience of implementing budgeting/planning software
taking responsibility for a project from start to finish - you excel at getting things done
adapting your style to suit your audience - you have robust interpersonal and communication skills
being inquisitive about the way things work and how we can improve
taking the initiative and anticipating stakeholder needs where necessary.
building great relationships with the people you work with
influencing those around you and being able to guide their decision-making
having a high level of attention to detail and being rigorous in delivering a quality outcome
staying organised in a very busy role
understanding the bigger picture, but having an eye for detail too
having a commitment to deliver - sometimes within tight timescales
showing a real sense of pride and ownership of the quality of your work
