Job Description Summary The Zone FP&A Analyst is responsible for financial planning, data analysis, and reporting to support business decisions within the zone. This includes preparing financial budgets and forecasts, analyzing financial performance against targets, providing recommendations to improve efficiency, and evaluating the financial impact of proposed projects. The FP&A Analyst reports to the Zone FP&A Manager. Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participating in the formulation and analysis of financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market conditions.
  • Engaging in the comprehensive collection, meticulous processing, and thorough analysis of financial data to discern patterns, forecast future trends, and provide decision-makers with actionable insights.
  • Crafting articulate and insightful financial reports to delineate financial performance, highlight variances, and elucidate underlying drivers with precision and clarity.
  • Supporting the enhancement of business intelligence tools to provide live financial updates on key performance indicators.
  • Vigilantly monitoring financial performance against benchmarks, identifying significant variances, conducting root cause analyses, and providing recommendations to optimize performance and mitigate risks.
  • Undertaking in-depth financial evaluations of proposed projects or initiatives, scrutinizing their impact on the organization's financial health, profitability, and strategic trajectory, and providing recommendations for decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a numeracy-based topic plus confirmed financial work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of GEHC financial, commercial, and service operating systems.
  • Financial acumen and analysis.
  • Ability to manage and interpret financial data.
  • Budgeting and forecasting proficiency.
  • Variance analysis capability.
  • Scenario modeling skills.
  • Risk assessment abilities.
  • Market synthesis expertise.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Proficiency in Business Intelligence Tools (e.g., Power BI).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and value-adding abilities.
  • Experience in a matrixed environment.
  • Adaptable and flexible mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
