JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT

Job:
Junior Accountant

Reporting to:
Senior Accountant

Salary: 5,000 to 6,000 AED

  • Role/Responsibilities:_
  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
  • Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
  • Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records, etc. as assigned
  • Review the staff expenses claim form and do the correct posting
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
  • Knowledge of UAE Tax Law and ability to prepare the Client's Quarterly return filing
  • Manage the Prepayment, accruals & Fixed assets register
  • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

Requirements:

  • Accounting Degree (B Com, ACCA, CPA)


 Microsoft Excel
  • Professional level
  • Work experience of 2 years in a corporate company/audit firm
  • Fluency in English
  • Skills/Experience_
  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS) and auditing standards
  • Good understanding of internal control requirements
  • Experience in ERP software (Dynamics Microsoft)
  • Wellorganized and used to working in a fastpaced environment
  • Selfstarter, willing to go the extra mile, and proactive
  • Energetic personality
  • Strong communicator and ability to influence
  • Able and willing to work at all levels of the business

Salary:
AED5, AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:

  • B Com, ACCA, CPA (required)
