Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team at IIQAFGROUP. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial transactions and reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Transaction Processing
    • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices to customers.
    • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
    • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports to management.
  • Accounting Support
    • Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings.
    • Assist with other accounting projects as assigned.
  • Financial Data Management
    • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information is accurate and immediately available when needed.
  • Requirements
    • Proven experience as a Junior Accountant or in a related field.
    • Excellent organizing abilities and attention to detail.
    • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
    • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP).
    • Qualifications (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) is a plus but not required.
    • BSc/Ba in accounting, finance or relevant field.
