We are seeking a Catering coordinator to oversee our catering operations.

In this role, you will:
- responsible for coordinating food preparation for a major section of a large operation such as the bakery and catering section
- coordinating an event timeline, maintaining inventory, overseeing staff
- to handle the administration for the F&B department with follow up
- in charge of planning and managing all the needs of events and catering services.

  • Negotiate terms with vendors to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Organize and execute catering events, ensuring toptier service is delivered.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with clients, vendors, and event venues.
  • Coordinate client needs and manage the intricacies of event planning.
  • Detail event components including menu selection, proposal drafting, and financial documentation.
  • Generate accurate financial reports and oversee timely payment collections.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is mandatory

Currently based in the UAE can join immediately on Visit or Cancelled Visa:

  • Fluent in Arabic, additional languages will be advantageous
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills

  • Proven track record as an Events Planner or Organizer.
  • An impressive portfolio of previously managed events (team buildings, corporate meetings, parties, corporate events).
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills.
  • Strong sales skills and the ability to establish productive business relationships.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Willingness to provide references from previous clients.
