SteerAI, is the new autonomous mobility start-up incubated in Venture one, with the mission to enable safe, sustainable and scalable mobility across air, land and sea.

The RoleThis role will lead Business development efforts to bring SteerAI technology to the market.

As the Director of Business Development, you will define and execute the go-to-market strategy to drive the adoption of our innovative autonomous mobility solutions.

With a keen understanding of the autonomous robotics landscape and value chain, you will develop strategic partnerships and oversee negotiations to strengthen our market presence and accelerate our growth.

Your efforts will focus on strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and sales performance management.

In a fast-paced and dynamic environment, our world-class team is set to expand—and as a key member of the leadership team, you will have a crucial role in shaping our trajectory.


Job Responsibilities:

Client Engagement and Management:

Lead and manage the entire client journey with B2B customers, from initial engagement through requirement gathering, proposal development, contracting, and follow-up.

Focus on cross-selling and nurturing long-term client relationships to maximize business opportunities.
Go-to
  • Market Strategy: Define and execute a sector specific go to market strategy, aiming to capture key players within each industry.
Develop targeted plans to engage and secure partnerships with leading firms, enhancing market penetration and presence.

Value proposition Development:
Design and develop offerings tailored to the needs of key players across the autonomous mobility value chain. Ensure that our solutions meet the diverse needs of the industry and contribute to the advancement of autonomous mobility.

Sales Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and analyze sales performance and growth metrics to understand the effectiveness of strategies and initiatives. Use insights to drive improvements and ensure alignment with broader business goals.

Partnership Development:
Drive the formation of robust partnership agreements with a comprehensive ecosystem of technology players. Focus on creating synergies that enhance efficiency and deliver exceptional value to our clients.

Team Growth and Leadership:
Lead the expansion and development of a dedicated team of business developers and customer success managers. Foster a culture of passion, innovation, and client-focused results, empowering team members to excel and grow professionally.

Required Qualifications (what you should have)Master's or PhD in Business Administration or equivalentExtensive B2B Business development experience in Technology / Automotive / MobilityAn outstanding track record in securing strategic commercial partnershipsDemonstrated negotiation skills and contract management expertiseStrong communication skillsA passion for Stakeholders engagement and partnerships developmentPreferred experience (it would be awesome if you also had these)Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and market disruption.

Familiarity with pricing and licensing models for enterprise solutions is advantageous.
