Business Need / Purpose of Role


The
Finance Executive reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager based out of
Dubai, UAE shall be on a
contract base of months and be responsible for accurate accounting of customer invoices and ensure prompt collection of dues from the customers.


Objectives & Measurement - Key Responsibilities

  • Processing of petty cash vouchers for Dubai NE locations and uploading the same in SharePoint.
  • Issuance of cash advance vouchers for operational requirements and subsequent reconciliation of claims received.
  • Reconciliation and processing of corporate credit card statements.
  • Issuance of Local Purchase Orders for Marine Launch team and Business travel.
  • Processing of Admin related claims pertaining to various visas issued by HR.
  • Reconciliation and submission of cost of sales for Seaman visas for Dubai and NE.
  • Reconciliation of RAK customs account basis regular statement to ensure NIL unaccounted.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Competent user of the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Being able to communicate verbally/writing in a clear and concise manner.
  • Balance multiple tasks, changing priorities & operate within a deadlineoriented environment.
  • Good interpersonal relationship in managing people/subordinates, planning, organizing.
  • Excellent attention to minute details.
  • Selfdriven, organized, good communication skills.

Education, Qualifications, Certifications, and Licenses

  • 13 years hands on experience in Account Receivables within shipping /Logistics /Maritime domain.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
