JOBTITLE: Senior Analyst EngineeringSystems

KEYRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developand Automate Dabacon E3D & Tekla interface processes forEngineering integrate with enterprise engineering systems (AvevaAutodesk Trimble & Inhouse).
  • Responsible forliaising with Engineering SMEs to identify requirements forbusiness process improvisation & defining the RequirementDefinition Specification.
  • Translate the requirement specifications into Aveva and E3D/PDMSautomation using the best practices defined by Aveva Trimble andPetrofac GMS (Global Business ManagementSystem).
  • Train end users& rolling out the developments as standard methodologyacross projects and preparing relevant GMSprocedures.
  • Manage theprocess of change with respect to E3D/PDMS Tekla automationroutines & carry out impact analysis prior to implementingthe change and supporting end users for User Acceptance Testing(UAT) process.
  • Experiencein Tekla modelling and steeldetailing.
  • Provide clearplans and goal setting in managing the assignedactivities.
  • Solveproblems and troubleshooting on critical issues on E3D/PDMSprojects.
  • Engage withsoftware vendors & be up to date with latest version of theapplication from time totime.
  • Interface withClients & JV partners to manage projectdelivery.
  • Providesstrategic support and input into the overall engineering vision anddevelopment plan.

ESSENTIALQUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree from an accredited College orUniversity and having 6 years of experience in 3D automation rolein a head office environment.
  • Understanding ofbusiness processes from FEED to EPC and having worked in the oiland gas industry.
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have business processknow how & development in Tekla in addition to theexpertise with 3D tools.
  • Knowledge of engineering activities in relation to 3Dsystems.
  • Excellentknowledge of E3D and PDMS automation customisation of cataloguesdrawings libraries andstandards.
  • Knowledge ofDABACON data structure.
  • Comprehensive programming expertise using PML PML.NET C# SQLqueries.
  • Creations ofAPIs scripts or new features for wide range of products such asTrimble Autodesk or any other inhouse products.
  • Must be able to workindependently and play active role in the team and develop PMLcodes and interfaces as per GMS standards and Petrofac bestpractices and norms.
  • Able to develop logic to integrate E3D/PDMS with other products& legacy systems.
  • Knowledge of Aveva ERMNavisworks Tekla and its metadata.
  • Knowledge of CADapplication such as MicroStation AutoCAD and systems such as smartplant tools.
  • Develop andmaintain Corporate Standard ProjectSetup.
  • Prioritization ofbusiness demand &Scheduling
  • Strongproblemsolving capability with proactive and logicalapproach.
