Job Summary:


As a Front Office Associate at our esteemed 5-star hotel in Dubai, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and unparalleled service throughout their stay.

You will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional guest experiences, handling check-ins and check-outs efficiently, and coordinating with various departments to meet guest needs seamlessly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Guest Services:

  • Welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a memorable first impression.
  • Assist guests with checkin and checkout procedures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations at all times.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance guests' experiences.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and special promotions.

Front Desk Operations:

  • Manage reservations, including room assignments, special requests, and cancellations, utilizing the hotel's property management system.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, following established procedures for billing and payment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and materials necessary for front office operations.

Communication and Coordination:

  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management, both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including coordinating guest transportation, dining reservations, and special requests.
  • Relay important information and updates to relevant departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Work closely with the Concierge team to provide personalized recommendations and assistance to guests.

Compliance and Security:

  • Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures, including those related to safety, security, and confidentiality.
  • Maintain the security of guest information and belongings, following established protocols for key handling and guest privacy.
  • Report any suspicious activity or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities or management immediately.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and property management software.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment.
  • Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
