Your role
As a Manager with relevant expertise, your mission is to advise decision-makers in addressing their ESG and Climate Change related Sustainability _Targets:_

  • Classify project risks and estimate project timelines, required resources and budgets.
  • Carry out precautionary stakeholder management, e.g. stakeholder analysis.
  • Confidently manage complex and comprehensive individual client projects on Clevel by leading project teams in relation to technical approach and content, independent development of solutions and being responsible for project results incl. quality control.
  • Independently plan and lead overall project communication.
  • Facilitate large, complex workshops with mixed client participation.
  • Compose sensitive and confidential documents over the course of the project.
  • Carry out moderate adjustments of scope independently / after consultation with stakeholders.
  • Achieve involvement of project sponsor incl. buyin of top management on project results.
  • Additionally, you will be playing an active role in building the firm:_
  • Prioritize people development through instant feedback on the job, counselling and appropriate staffing considerations.
  • Actively manage networks within the client organisation even outside the direct project field. Externally initiate contacts, e.g. at conferences.
  • Support the development of project opportunities at potential clients as well as existing clients in coordination with the client's responsible persons.
  • Lead the development of the offering until maturity.
  • Technical and organizational lead of the proposal until submission.
  • Take over operative responsibility for carrying out large tasks of internal functions, e.g. development of a marketing instrument.
  • Independently develop a new competency area or a consulting product within a specific framework.
  • Convert individual knowledge into thought leadership for the firm, e.g. develop and enhance existing IP, PoV publications, whitepapers, presentations at conferences, etc.
  • Establish requisite internal and external networks to deliver on the sustainability / climate change value proposition.
  • Create awareness, understanding and pull for our sustainability focused propositions across the DSS business.

Who are you?


Moreover, expertise in translating individual net-zero targets into actionable roadmaps, such as GHG emissions analysis and decarbonization measures, is a crucial requirement.

You should possess profound knowledge of ISO 14064 and experience in conducting TCFD analyses.


Familiarity with decarbonization themes, such as carbon capture and utilization technologies, carbon markets, financing mechanisms, and various low-carbon technologies, is highly desirable.

You should also be knowledgeable about renewables, including the relevance of hydrogen-based technologies and energy systems to guide clients' energy transformation journey.

Additionally, an understanding of energy modeling and accounting, along with the ability to interpret results and draw insights from energy reporting, is essential.


As for soft skills, you should thrive in complexity, be a natural problem-solver, and exhibit intellectual curiosity while being adaptable in various situations.

You should be capable of managing complex projects and coordinating the analysis, absorption, and synthesis of large amounts of information to draw clear recommendations for clients.

Furthermore, you should be detail-oriented, well-organized, autonomous, and an excellent team player.

Effective verbal and written communication skills are crucial, as you will need to interact with different levels of the organization, from executives to technicians and operators.

Exceptional interpersonal skills and a team-working attitude are required to collaborate with multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams. You should be personable, a good listener, and capable of connecting easily with others.

You should be comfortable working independently and be open to remote work across different time zones if required. Fluency in English is mandatory, and proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
