The Courtyard Playhouse, a beautiful small theatre in Al Quoz 1, is a vibrant, creative, warm, and fun place to work. We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic Front of House Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional service and creating a positive first impression which embodies our values.

Responsibilities:

  • Man the front desk during working hours, serving as the primary point of contact for customers, clients, and visitors.
  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
  • Answer incoming calls, handle inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Respond to customer inquiries through various communication channels, including phone, email, social media, and in-person interactions.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring a presentable and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Keep track of inquiries and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
  • Stay up-to-date with company products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Promote and sell tickets to our shows, ensuring guests are aware of current and upcoming performances.
  • Engage with visitors, sharing your passion for theatre and the arts to enhance their experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a receptionist, front of house coordinator, or similar role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide friendly and professional assistance to customers and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using office equipment, including telephone systems and computer software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to respond to customer inquiries and comments through these channels.
  • A bubbly, outgoing personality with a passion for theatre and the arts.
  • A positive attitude, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Drive for sales and the ability to promote and sell tickets effectively.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while handling challenging situations.
  • Flexibility to work during regular business hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in customer service or administration are a plus.
