Greet customers as they arrive at the restaurant.

  • Ensure that a restaurant attendant is available to serve customers.
  • Respond to customers' requests and queries on WhatsApp and FB.
  • Assist customers in choosing items according to their tastes.
  • Punch chosen items into the system.
  • Provide customers with price information.
  • Process cash and credit card transactions.
  • Tender change and receipts.
  • Thank customers for their business.
  • Provide them with information on additional items in order to meet upselling targets.
  • Balance cash registers at the end of the shift.
  • Check cash levels and handle discrepancies, such as missing or excess cash.
  • Ensure that the cash drawer is accurately balanced at the end of the day.
  • Perform daily bank deposits.
  • Ensure that proper food safety guidelines are followed.
  • Perform restaurant work, for example, food rotation and preparation.
  • Clean and maintain FOH areas such as displays, cash counters and washroom.
  • Create and maintain effective liaison with vendors in order to obtain timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Check stock levels, and inform restaurant managers.
  • Ensure that the right amount of change is available in the cash drawer.
