JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for building Marriott International's brand awareness for F&B across Europe, Middle East & Africa, driving preference amongst key travel consumers (on-folio) and the local consumer (off-folio). It further more proactively supports defining the strategic direction on F&B Marketing for the continent and works closely with the Senior Director of F&B Marketing, the CLS team as well as area teams and regional directors of Marketing, Digital and Loyalty for its successful implementation.

The Senior F&B Marketing Manager actively advises and supports the RDMDLs in driving and executing the above property restaurant and bar demand generation strategy, delivering on the paid media, PR and social media campaign components. This role is furthermore responsible to drive the digital R+B platform optimization of which supports above property demand generation campaigns across the region. This role also leads the R+B continent efforts to build meaningful tools and resources in partnership with CLS.

The Senior F&B Marketing Manager fosters close collaboration with above property partnership, loyalty and brand teams to support discipline specific F&B initiatives and ensures digital platforms are optimized to support campaigns and ensures appropriate tracking. The role also collaborates with DFM and the above property F&B teams and communicates relevant activities to the field.

CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience

  • High school diploma; 4 years' experience in marketing, communications, F&B or related professional area OR 4-year degree from an accredited university in Marketing, Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • Marriott experience is desirable but not essential
  • Previous marketing experience in the restaurant & bars side of the business is a plus
  • Marriott experience is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication, copywriting and time management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of paid media and social media marketing preferred
  • Proven working experience with agencies preferred (PR, Social and/ or Advertising)
