Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Keep abreast of UAE labour and employment laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with the same.

Ensure compliance with company regulations, policies and procedures.

Manage all aspects of employees' visas, ID cards, and Labor contracts in a timely manner to ensure that company's records are up to date with all concerned Authorities.

Update and maintain records in the personnel information system and run standard and ad hoc queries.

Co-ordinate and carry out all aspects of staffing and recruitment processes with a focus on Diversity, Inclusion and Equality.

Prepare and issue all relevant documentation throughout employee lifecycle.

Carry out onboarding strategies including orientation to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.

Assist with development of new HR policies and procedures and provide advice on the same.

Support the Regional HR Manager and deliver training on HR related initiatives, policies and procedures.

Recommend and develop employee relations practices to foster a positive employer-employee relationship.

Support and advise on absence management related issues, including occupational health referrals.

Continually improve systems to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.

Co-ordinate and maintain local benefits including liaising with providers and all associated administration.

Arrange, conduct and analyse exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data.

Maintain and report on HR metrics.

Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

Work with management to ensure employees' wellbeing and safety is a priority.

Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects.

Assist in other areas of UAE activities within skills level as and when required.

Assist in other areas of the wider business as reasonably required and within skills level.

Act as an Ambassador for the business by acting as a mentor/guide and setting a good example to others.

Accountabilities

Effective and ongoing implementation of HR activities, including HRIS administration, timekeeping/payroll, payroll and benefits administration, employee safety, and leave management.

Fostering a positive work environment through implementation of full cycle employee experience including recruitment, onboarding, development of employees, culture, equal opportunities and diversity & inclusion.

Complying at all times with the Company's policies and procedures.

Understanding and delivering on the requirements of local labour laws and relevant legislation.

Qualifications

Required

Since this role is for a Temporary period, candidates who are on a Sponsored Visa will be preferred.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Business language is English and mandatory.

Knowledge and skills

Essential

Experience of providing HR support across all elements of recruitment and HR.

Excellent working knowledge of UAE legislation & procedures and employment equity regulations.

Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.

Experience of co-ordinating, supporting and delivering HR Training sessions.

UAE Driving licence.

Preferable

Experience of implementing HR Process improvements.

Exposure to payroll practices.

Education/Qualifications

Degree in human resources or Solid experience of working in a HR Assistant / Coordinator role
