The Position

  • Seeking an experienced Channel Manager for the United Arab Emirates to support OPSWAT's channel expansion strategy.

The Channel Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding the Global Channels Strategy in the designated territory by mapping, recruiting, enabling, and managing the channel ecosystem's growth.

This role involves overseeing operational and strategic aspects of relationships with channel partners to enhance OPSWAT's value-added channel for increased productivity and expansion.

The ideal candidate should have a strong track record in sales, specifically in Enterprise IT/OT security and SaaS sales opportunities, with a focus on recruiting and managing value-added channels.

This role is based in Dubai, covering primarily the United Arab Emirates territory with possible extension to other GCC countries.

Responsibilities Include

  • Build and expand a channel ecosystem for new business in the territory;
  • Execute channel partner onboarding, enablement, and business planning;
  • Collaborate with Sales Managers on business planning and sales execution;
  • Manage inbound channel leads and support partners tactically;
  • Act as the primary point of contact for channel partners regarding operational support;
  • Develop trusted relationships with partners, customers, and prospects;
  • Assist partners in creating and implementing sales strategies to meet sales quotas;
  • Communicate value propositions tailored to partners' and customers' needs;
  • Maintain detailed account information in Salesforce CRM;
  • Forecast revenue projections accurately;
  • Exceed annual sales quotas and prioritize customer satisfaction;
  • Stay updated on cybersecurity trends to plan for the future.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
  • 7-10 years of Channel and Business Development experience, with a focus on security and enterprise software sales;
  • Proficiency in English and local languages as required;
  • Proven track record of quota attainment in enterprise sales;
  • Technical knowledge of cybersecurity products and operating systems;
  • Expertise in pipeline management and forecasting;
  • Strong time management skills and high autonomy;
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and willing to travel as needed;
  • High ethical standards and professionalism;
  • Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Technical experience in enterprise software or networking solutions;
  • Knowledge of sandbox and anti-malware products;
  • Understanding of APIs and software development;
  • Background in IT administration or CIS;
  • Fluency in additional languages.
