Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude, listen to their needs, and provide knowledgeable assistance and recommendations. Respond to inquiries and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

Sales and Promotion:

Actively engage customers to promote and sell products by demonstrating features, explaining benefits, and offering additional items or alternatives.

Utilize upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities.

Product Knowledge:
Develop a deep understanding of the products available in the store, including their features, pricing, and specifications. Stay updated on new arrivals, sales promotions, and any special offers to provide accurate information to customers.

Stocking and Merchandising:
Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing merchandise shipments. Ensure shelves, racks, and displays are properly stocked, labeled, and visually appealing. Maintain a neat and tidy appearance of the store at all times.

Cash Handling:
Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods securely and maintain proper cash register procedures.

Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to achieve store targets, maintain a cooperative work environment, and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Assist in training new sales associates when required.

Store Operations:
Follow all store policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Assist with inventory management, including conducting stock checks and participating in periodic inventory counts.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
