Role ObjectiveAssist in planning, managing and directing the activities of the electricity asset performance team in identifying and collecting the relevant baseline data related to asset and business units' performance using retained local technical knowledge and reporting systems.2.


Key Responsibilities/AccountabilitiesGrowth & Sustainability related :

  • Execute all assigned tasks and to ensure that these are executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner
  • Report on the overall performance and work progress of tasks assignedCustomer related:
  • Execute all customer facing transactions in line with ADDC customer strategy resulting in higher satisfaction and timely delivery of services
  • Address customer needs, problems and requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure the delivery of a world-class customer experience
  • Support the customer focused culture minimizing disruption to impacted customers ensuring customers are kept informedOperational Excellence related:
  • Formulate long- and short-term plans, policies and procedures for electricity asset performance in coordination with the Asset Investment and Performance Department.
  • Liaise with Electricity Planning Department teams, operational teams, etc. to assess the performance of the business assets and identify areas of improvement to maintain ADDC standards.
  • Assist the Electricity Asset Performance Section to compare and benchmark the current asset distribution system performance levels to the performance of a similar leading international utility. The evaluation results are intended to provide senior management with a tool to manage continuous performance improvement and to track progress towards achieving corporate business objectives.
  • Monitor the performance of assets and prepare monthly system performance reports to ADDC management, ADPower, ADPower, higher authorities, etc.
  • Evaluate and analyse the performance data.
  • Assist in the development of the key performance indicators to monitor the performance of assets and business units.
  • Identify the asset performance gaps in coordination with the technical specialists, comparing them to the current best practice and then finding solutions to minimise the impact of the identified gaps.
  • Carry out asset fault analyses to identify the most problematic areas, then accordingly quantify and priorities the risks.
  • Develop new guidelines to improve the accuracy and consistency of asset performance measures and data collection.
  • Analyse projects' performance impact on the overall business performance.
  • Involved in the development of comprehensive performance management frameworks around the investment programme.

Performance Driven Organization related:

  • Acquire the required skills and knowledge through appropriate training programsIn addition to the above, the incumbent shall also perform all other duties assigned by line manager
