Position Overview:

This role involves capturing and creating video content and responsible for recording including events, documentaries, commercials, films, and online content using cameras, lighting, and audio equipment to capture high-quality footage, and they often edit and post-produce the videos to meet specific client or project requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Capturing highquality video footage using cameras, tripods, and other equipment.
  • Setting up and adjusting lighting, audio, and camera settings for optimal results.
  • Composing shots and angles to convey the desired message or story.
  • Recording clear and highquality audio, which may involve using microphones, audio recorders,
  • Keeping up to date with the latest technology and equipment trends.
  • Communicating with clients to understand their vision and expectations.
  • Coordinating with other team members, such as directors, producers, and editors, to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
  • Ensuring that the work complies with copyright and licensing laws.
  • Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines and deliver videos on schedule.
  • Keeping up with industry trends and software updates to enhance skills and stay competitive in the field.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Understand how to use various types of cameras like Canon, Sony from DSLRs to professional video cameras.
  • Proficient in operating and maintaining professional videography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and audio equipment.
  • Learn the principles of framing, angles, and shot composition.
  • Master the use of natural and artificial lighting to create visually appealing shots.
  • Understand audio recording and editing techniques for clear and highquality sound.
  • Have a keen eye for detail, aesthetics, and a unique visual style.
  • Join industry associations and attend networking events.
  • Be able to effectively communicate with clients, understand their vision, and convey your ideas.
  • Understand the business side of videography, including contracts, pricing, and marketing.
  • Familiarize yourself with copyright laws and permissions required for filming in various locations.
  • Videography often involves long hours and physically demanding tasks, so good stamina is essential.
  • Be able to think on your feet and troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during a shoot.

Pay:
Up to AED3,500.00 per month
