EMEA South consists of four market units: Italy, Southern Europe, Middle East Africa North, and Middle East Africa South, along with a regional Line of Business / Midmarket Team.

It belongs to the EMEA super-region which combines EMEA North, EMEA South and Middle and Eastern Europe (MEE).

EMEA Field Marketing is a diverse, international team of experts that leverages standards, knowledge, and innovation across the entire super-region to powerfully serve its markets.


The Head of Field Marketing EMEA South reports directly to the Head of EMEA Field Marketing and is therewith part of the EMEA Field Marketing leadership team as well as member of the EMEA South extended Customer Success leadership team.

You will partner closely with the EMEA Marketing leadership team, as well as with the regional sales leaders, business development teams and corporate communications.


YOUR PROFILE


The Head of Field Marketing EMEA South is accountable for aligning the marketing strategy and executing programs to support the revenue and growth objectives of EMEA South.

To accomplish this, you will lead a high performing team of roughly 40 passionate marketers as well as an extended team of roughly 20 colleagues.


In this role, you will focus on demand generation, account-based marketing, pipeline progression and customer adoption marketing as well as employee development and self-organization.


The Head of Field Marketing EMEA South is responsible for working with the EMEA Marketing leadership team to implement and further develop the entire EMEA organization and culture.


If you are to take on the role of Head of Field Marketing EMEA South, it is necessary for you to be based within one of the EMEA South countries (preferably Italy or Spain).


Your main responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the marketing strategy, translating vision into achieving revenue targets across the customer lifecycle in collaboration with Corporate Marketing, Marketing Solution Organization (CMSO), Field Marketing and Customer Success.
  • Ensuring crossorganizational alignment and collaboration among market units, regions, solution areas and segments.
  • Effectively managing the marketing budget and making investment decisions based on corporate, marketing, and regional priorities.
  • Guiding the teams continuously through the transformation of becoming a modern marketing organization focusing on programs, tactics, and employee skill development.
  • Building, leading, and retaining a highperforming, multigenerational team while embracing diversity and inclusion.
  • Transformational, developmental leadership with a focus on communication, collaboration, and trust.
  • Managing networking efforts both internally and externally in a professional and sustainable manner.
  • Leading the team to operational excellence ensuring scale, best practice definition, continuous learning and ensure the transition from strategy to execution.
  • Creating and communicating goals, objectives and KPI's for all marketing initiatives and ensure measurements are achieved.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Expert knowledge across all aspects of marketing, from the creative and corporate functions, to driving program and campaign execution, and delivering pipeline and outcomes at the field level.
  • Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) marketing in the hightech sector (hardware or software) or a similar subscriptionbased industry.
  • At least 7 years of experience successfully managing a large and truly diverse and virtual team in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in working strategically and collaboratively with crossfunctional teams in matrixed and virtual environments.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of effectively interacting with executives both external (customers & partners) plus internal executive leadership.
  • High ability to thrive in a demanding, quick turnaround environment where change is a daily reality while showing confidence through times of change.
  • Datadriven, outcome focused and possessing a strong orientation in driving change management and transformation.
  • Extensive experience leveraging digital and social strategies to drive account engagement, demand creation and revenue impact.
  • Recent experience within the region.
