ResponsibilitiesJob PurposeResponsible for organizing and managing the daily activities of the logistics department. This will involve supervising transportation assets, ensuring they are utilized optimally to maximize profitability and minimize costs. And will also need to establish policies that protect the company's capital investments and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to multitask will be essential to succeed in this role.

QUALITY
Responsible for being familiar with the Company's Quality policies and takes an active role in the compliance and improvement of Weatherford's Management SystemMaintains service quality as immediate priorities when working across all areas of the business and continually seeks areas for improvement

OPERATIONS
Act as the focal point for local Supply Chain Team.

Supervise operations within the local Supply Chain & Logistics DepartmentEnsure that all transport is coordinated and that load outs are scheduled and depart on time.

Ensure that all paperwork e.g. customs paperwork is accurate and is processed on time to meet our legal requirements.
Responsible for maintaining logistics system and Supply Chain Databases.
Control and maintain files with all required export documentation to meet local Customs requirements.
Ensure that the asset and shipment tracking system is used effectively to meet tracking needs.

Assist in the generation and capture of revenue by effectively controlling costs within your area of responsibility and by ensuring that all invoices etc are processed speedily.

Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
Monitor order from time the purchase order is received until material is received at designated customer location.
Prepare necessary export documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin) and provide to the forwarder.

COMMUNICATION
Maintains effective communications with all key stakeholders both internal and where appropriate externalSupervisors & Managers should clearly communicate expectations, roles and responsibilities to their reports

FINANCIAL

QualificationsExperience & EducationREQUIRED
Bachelor's Degree Qualifications5 Years + of experience in Logistics with demonstrable supervisory levelGood Qualifications in Shipping are necessary to perform the duties of this role

PREFERRED
Experience in Freight forwardingKnowledge of relevant systems and processes, as well as OTM
Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesREQUIRED

Local Logistics processesExperience in the Oil & Gas Industry is necessaryBeing computer literate is essentialStrong Supervisory skills is requiredExcellent Communication skillsare needed for this roleAbility to work in a team-oriented environment is essential.
