The Role
We are currently seeking a dynamicand highly motivated Logistics Officer to Join our team in Dubai.The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years ofexperience in logistics operations preferably in a similarsupervisory role. Key qualifications include a strong understandingof logistics principles practices and regulations proficiency inlogistics software and ERP systems and the ability to effectivelyprioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Additionally problemsolving and decisionmaking skills along withkeen attention to detail and accuracy are essential for success inthis role. Job Responsibilities: Plan and manage all daily freightrelated requests. With carriers and freight forwarders to achievecost effective solutions for local and international logisticsmovement Strong relationships with logistics suppliers to ensurecompetitive pricing and high service levels. Freight quotations andissue purchase orders in line with approved quotations and prior toservice engagement. And control logistics costs identify costsavingopportunities and initiate strategies to reduce expenses withoutcompromising service quality Comparisons and analysis of freightcosts between multiple forwarders. Monthly logistics reports andsubmit to logistics manager Necessary documentation and recordsrelated to shipping receiving and storage. Ensure all logisticsactivities comply with relevant laws regulations and industrystandards. Stay informed about changes in legislation affectinglogistics and adjust processes accordingly. Respond to and resolvelogistics issues in a timely manner. Develop and implementpractical solutions for logistics challenges ensuring minimalimpact on operations and service. Conduct yearly suppliersevaluation and compile related reports within the specifieddeadlines. Utilize logistics it systems to optimize procedurestrack shipments and manage data. Closely with procurement andwarehousing teams to optimize supply chain operations. Withinternal departments and external partners to ensure alignment oflogistics with overall business goals. Communicate effectively withmanagement and provide timely updates. To learn and adapt to newpractices and procedures. Ensure compliance with safety regulationsand company policies in all logistics activities.

Requirements
Qualifications: Degree in logisticssupply chain management business administration or a related field.Experience in logistics operations with at least 5 years ofexperience in a similar role. Knowledge of logistics principlespractices and regulations. Of logistics software and erp Toprioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities. To detail and accuracyin all aspects of work. Communication skills both verbal andwritten. Any additional certification in logistics or supply chainmanagements a plus
