  • You will play an integral role inproviding a positive and memorable experience for all our Spa andWellness visitors and hotel guests
  • Provideessential support to the Spa and Wellness facility working closelywith its department head and spa team (and other departmentscollaboratively) to ensure a seamlessly smooth running of itsoperations and beyond
  • Act as a role model tojunior level recreation team members, mentoring and training newstarters and existing Legends while supporting the Director of Spaat all times as well as attending leadership meetings in herabsence, delegating where and when necessary, with competency andconfidence
  • Supervise and manage recreationalLegends (attendants, lifeguards and personaltrainers)
  • Plan and implement recreationalprograms and events, demonstrating budgeting and financialmanagement
  • Coordinate with other hoteldepartments and organizations to deliver the best guestexperience
  • Maintain all SOP’s recordsensuring they are up to date and implement necessarychanges.
  • Ensure the safety of all members andguests who visit the gym and poolareas
  • Maintain the Spa and Wellness facilitiesand equipment to a high usable standard avoiding breakages andhazards
  • Oversee operations and service deliveryof the designated recreation facilities and participatoryprograms
  • Assist in the day-to-day running ofthe pool and gym operations
  • Closely monitorKPIs and provide statistical reports to the Director of Spa whenneeded
  • Analyze financial performance and assistin budget planning
  • Collaborate with theDirector of Spa on strategic planning, marketing initiatives andrevenue generating strategies.
  • Conduct stafftraining, mentor the Wellness team and actively promote incentivesto improve performance and contributions to the departmentrevenue
  • Assist in employees performanceevaluations and provide constructive feedback for growth anddevelopment
  • Assist the Spa and Wellnessoperations when needed
  • Implementdaily/weekly/monthly cleaning and maintenance checklists for allrelevant employees and ensure all tasks are actedupon
  • Ensure all recreational areas are cleanand tidy, properly set up and presented at alltimes
  • Participate in achieving individual anddepartmental targets optimizing revenue in the upselling ofservices and retail products by offering relevant recommendationsto our guests, confidently
  • Demonstrate anexceptional guest service, promptly addressing and satisfactorilyresolving guest concerns or issues ensuring all needs are met andexceeded

  • You’ll bring your uniquepersonality and passion to the role and the Spa and Wellnessteam
  • Strong leadership skills gained throughprevious supervisory or entry managerial roles in a luxury spaenvironment
  • Demonstrated proficiency andexperience in spa therapy techniques, client consultation andproduct knowledge.
  • Previous therapistbackground will be an advantage
  • Ability toeffectively train and mentoremployees
  • Experience in handling complex guestsissues, resolving conflict and maintaining a positive workenvironment
  • Possess good team spirit, empathyand be guest-centric
  • You might need to coverspa treatments bookings if required
  • Familiaritywith administrative tasks such as employees scheduling, performanceevaluations, and PNL responsibilities within a spasetting.
  • Communication is what keeps ourdepartments running perfectly. You will have great skills in thisarea with a strong customer service ethic and know of itsimportance.
  • English is the primary languageused in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in thislanguage.
