KeyResponsibilities

  • Scope and plan future store locationsand concepts; working with senior leadership, create a roadmap forUS and international retail expansion.
  • Managethe retail P&L across Thuma’s entire brick andmortar retail business.
  • Lead store launches.Coordinate and oversee the new store openings, creating energyaround openings and maximizing store promotion and in-storeevents.
  • Hands on management for all storeopenings to ensure initial in-store operational excellence. Beresponsible for all aspects of new store operations until we have100% confidence that new stores are operating successfully. Thisincludes ensuring customer service standards,hiring, training andmanaging staff, ensuring operations are in line with companystandards, ensuring on-brand visual merchandising, maintaininginventory levels, and hitting in-storeKPIs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the retailmanagement team to ensure consistent operations andhigh-performance across all stores.
  • Implementstrategies to optimize profitability, control costs, and drivesales.
  • Ensure consistency across stores duringproduct releases and all marketing initiatives. Ensure consistentbrand presentation and customer experience across all retail,customer experience and eCommerce touchpoints at alltimes.
  • Establish and implement standardoperating procedures, ensuring that all stores operate efficientlyand uphold brand standards.
  • Create a welcoming,customer-centric environment, with a consistent focus onhospitality, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty, and ondelivering a 6-star customer experience across allstores.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team andretail leaders to create marketing plans for in-store promotions,visual merchandising strategies, and special events that align withthe brand's direction.
  • Coordinate withsupply chain and operations teams to ensure optimal inventorypositioning across all stores and create different inventory andfulfillment processes depending on the market and customerexpectations.
  • Work closely withcross-functional teams including marketing, finance, logistics, andhuman resources to ensure retail objectives aremet.
  • Work closely with the CX team and productteams to optimize feedback loops throughout CX, product andretail.
  • Engage with company leadership toprovide updates, insights, and strategicrecommendations.
  • Stay on top of industry trendsand emerging technologies to ensure the retail division remainscompetitive, while continuously reviewing processes, seekingimprovements and efficiencies wherepossible.
