Hive is looking for awell-rounded Engagement Manager to oversee the successful executionof our diverse set of Hive Data projects that are crucial inhelping companies to incorporate AI into their business. As anEngagement Manager at Hive, you will work closely with the deliveryteam as well as executive stakeholders to manage several clientprojects at a time and provide direction and insights throughoutthe project cycle. You will provide support in a variety of keyactivities, including project execution and management, improvementof key processes within the delivery team, implementation ofsystems and structure, and development of team productivitymetrics. Our ideal candidate has strong generalist skills and aproven background of leadership. A passion for startups and AI is amust.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute clientprojects flawlessly through collaboration with business andengineering team members
  • Actively look for waysto improve upon and optimize existing procedures, systems, andprocesses
  • Manage members on the delivery teamby setting achievable short-term and long-term goals, helping toprioritize team focuses, and providing effectivefeedback
  • Implement effective reporting andproductivity goals, ensuring metrics are useful, visible, andstreamlined
  • Interface with clients as necessaryto move projects forward
  • Maintain awareness ofindustry best practices for data maintenance handling as it relatesto your role
  • Adhere to policies, guidelines andprocedures pertaining to the protection of informationassets
  • Report actual or suspected securityand/or policy violations/breaches to an appropriateauthority

Requirements

  • You have a Bachelor’sdegree
  • You have 3-5 years of work experience ata top consulting or banking organization, or project management /operations experience at a fast-growingstart-up
  • You have a strong history ofleadership; you take initiative and manage others in a way thatpromotes growth and efficiency
  • You have strongcommunication skills and instinctively make analytical decisionsbased on numbers
  • You have client-facingexperience and a proven ability to engage with clients whennecessary
  • You are highly organized anddetail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamicpriorities without missing a beat
  • You areenergetic, resourceful, and driven, and have the ownership tothrive in an unstructuredenvironment
