To set strategies and manage the revenue management, sales and promotional activities of the whole company focusing on Membership Growth and the Key Market Segments which includes, Leisure Individuals and Groups, Travel Agents, DMC's & Hotels, Corporate Groups, Schools & Universities, Embassies, Institutions and Federations and Government Institutions and Organizations.

To assist, coach and coordinate the sales and marketing activities of the Sales & Marketing, Membership Sales and Membership Relations Departments.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Works with the management team to improve product and quality within the whole company.
  2. Develop the whole company's sales & marketing business plans and budget, evaluate business trends to modify strategies, and manage budget to meet business objectives.
  3. Provide constructive coaching and counselling to fellow employees.
  4. Work with and motivate the sales team to develop the revenue management process of the company.
  5. Manage all marketing communication matters and activities whilst working with appointed Public Relations and Marketing Agency, ensuring an excellent rapport with all relevant media - locally, regionally and internationally.
  6. Maximize profitability for the whole company, with a total revenue focus for major revenue centres including Food & Beverage, Equestrian, Shooting, Water Sport, Karting, Recreational and Retail consistent with company objectives.
  7. Identify prospective business partners for promotions and public relations activities.
  8. Promote and strengthen the positioning of the whole company for key business and market segments.
  9. Prepare and administer overall department budget and prepare monthly and long-term strategic department plan.
  10. Monitor sales performance through the compilation and preparation of all sales reports including forecasts, budgets, and weekly and monthly forecasts to ensure company objectives are met.
  11. Select, train, supervise, and develop all sales and marketing personnel.
  12. Interact extensively with all departments within the whole company to provide information concerning servicing and handling our members and guests.
  13. Develop and maintain key accounts through personal sales calls, correspondence with existing and potential client base, and attendance at travel and related industry meetings and trade shows.
  14. Plan, develop and implement marketing programs designed to maximize revenues consistent with company objectives.
  15. Direct and be responsible for the whole company's advertising activities to ensure any programs are consistent with established objectives and company standards.
  16. Identify positive public relations and teamwork opportunities with the sales team and manage activities to tap on these opportunities.
  17. Motivate and provide a work environment in which employee satisfaction can be reached.
  18. Assist in the development and implementation of the membership marketing & sales plan and enrollment and retention strategies and member events.
  19. Create and implement an effective "Public Relations and Awareness Campaign" without advertising.
  20. Ensure excellent rapport is established with new members to receive referrals, thereby achieving membership enrollment targets.
  21. Establish a database and maintain accurate records of members and prospective members for effective communication and promotion of the company's activities for both members and the public.
  22. Represent the whole company in community activities and organizations to provide community awareness of the whole company and develop sources for prospective members.
  23. Assist with the creation, organization and hosting of member events to attract and retain members.
  24. Assist top management with the coordination of protocol associated with the visits of VVIP Members & Guests.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
  • Master's degree or Bachelor in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field or equivalent commercial experience.
  • Minimum 10 - 15 years' UAE experience in hospitality and/or sports facilities environment.
  • Experience in an integrated Private or Semi-Private Resort and Country Club or Sports Club with both Membership and Public access in a senior leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience of driving performance in teams.
  • Ability to provide honest feedback and constructive criticism to the team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented; hands-on commitment to getting the job done, multi-tasking and time management.
  • Strong understanding of database structures, reporting tools and computer systems.
  • Strong leadership skills, organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications, Outlook or any related system and applications.
  • Strong analytical/problem solving, quantitative abilities and ability to work under pressure and handle stress.
  • Effective professional verbal and written communication skills both in Arabic & English along with solid presentation skills, reporting and documentation skills.
