Leadingmulti-disciplinary team is looking for a SeniorElectrical Engineer/Project Manager fortheir Cleveland, Ohioteam



Responsibilities:

  • Project/clientmanagement
  • Overseeelectrical design execution for a variety of project types(Healthcare, Sports,Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/orInstitutionalprojects
  • Plan/managedesign process with departmentmanagers
  • Supervisestaff/perform followingduties:
  • Performanalysis, design and documentation for power distribution, lightingsystems and backup powersystems
  • Coordinateproject with specialists for fire alarm, technology and lightingdesign
  • Coordinatewith other internal teams/disciplines for equipment power needs andsizing electricaldistribution
  • Performelectrical design calculations (electrical loads/panelschedules)
  • Developelectrical systems diagrams(one-line)
  • Select/scheduleelectricalequipment
  • Meetwith vendors to determine specifications then edit asneeded
  • Preparedesign deliverables for SD, DD, CD leveldocuments
  • Assistwith budgeting by providing costopinions
  • Reviewcontractors changeorders
  • Performconstruction administrative duties including RFI responses andreview of contractor changeorders
  • Ensuredesigns adhere to QA/QCstandards
  • Attend meetings(clients, localjurisdictions)
  • Workwith contractors to resolve constructionissues
  • Assistwith business development including participation in various tradeorganizations
  • Managemultiple projectssimultaneously


Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineeringpreferred
  • 8+years of electrical design/project management consultingexperience
  • Experiencewith electrical system studies (short circuit, over-current devicecoordination and Arc Flash Hazard analysis per NPFA70E)
  • Experience/knowledgeof National Electrical Code (NEC), StateEnergy Code, NFPA guidelines, and FGIguidelines
  • PELicensepreferred
  • Workingknowledge of design/analysis software (Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAPandEasypower)
  • Knowledgeof standard constructionpractices
