KeyResponsibilities
- Fieldincoming incident or service requests from internal customers viaphone web chat and e-mail in a courteousmanner.
- Build rapport and elicit incidentdetails from Service Desk customers to record incidents - documentall pertinent end customer identification information includingname department contact information and nature of problem orissue.
- Classify prioritize and escalate issueswhen required to the appropriately experienced analysts or TeamLead.
- Properly document steps when working ITincidents including those used in troubleshooting actions taken andthe outcome. This is especially important when sending IT incidentson to other IT groups for assistance.
- Usestandard approved diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshootingsuch as Quick Assist and GoTo Resolve.
- Accessknowledge base articles frequently asked questions resources andother reference materials to aid inresolution.
- Perform fixes at the desktop levelusing remote tools which could include installing and upgradingsoftware.
- Manage individual and/or groupnetwork and system access along with troubleshooting accountrelated issues using elevated access to cloud basedtools.
- Perform post-resolution follow-ups toincident requests for customersatisfaction.
- Evaluate documented resolutionsand analyze trends for ways to prevent futureissues.
- Recommend or suggest methods to updatesimplify and enhance processes and procedures. Required Skills andExperience
- 0-3 years of experience in customerservice/support or help desk/call centerenvironments.
- Ability to provide technical andtroubleshooting support.
- Ability to learnterminology applications and standard procedures for performing thejob function while looking for areas ofimprovement.
