  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge ofrelevant regulations and laws in order to effectively managecompliance risks relating to the marketing of alternative funds andother financial products to potentialinvestors.
  • Liaise with clients to obtainrequired documentation for registration of funds with localregulators and coordinate submission of documents to or via localaffiliate companies.
  • Be the point of contactfor client’s compliance queries as they relate to therequirements of marketing funds and other financialproducts.
  • Review of marketing materials in linewith regulatory requirements
  • Review ofpotential investor classificationdocumentation.
  • Provide training to investorrelations employees and respond to internal queries regardingcompany policies and procedures as they relate to compliantmarketing of alternative funds and financialproducts.
  • Assist in responding to requests fromexternal parties on regulatory and compliancematters.
  • Due diligence and KYC analysis ofpotential clients to be onboarded to thecompany.
  • Assisting with review of client fundsmaterials, performing conflicts analysis and summarising terms forinternal records.
  • Maintaining and/or monitoringrelevant trackers to report on progress to Head ofCompliance.
  • Overseeing and training junior teammembers (this role will lead to team management).

YOUARE

To be successful in thisrole you must have experience working in Fund Administration– registering funds and working with fundmanagers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in assetmanagement, fund administration or similar experience in thefinancial services industry
  • Prior experience ofinteraction with Global FundManagers
  • Understanding typical investmentstrategies of private equity, real estate, private debt,infrastructure and venture capitalfunds
  • Understanding investment strategies suchas Private Equity/ Real Estate/ Private Debt/ Venture CapitalFunds
  • Good knowledge of alternative investmentfunds and familiarity with funddocumentation
  • Degreeeducated
