In This Role YouWill

  • Managethe Governance for Joint Ventures as part of Cosec activities andCompliance, including the collaboration with PWC and the bp Group(JV's Governance is not part of PWCscope)
  • Coordinate the efficient and safeoperations of the Dubai office including hosting arrangements forother Middle East business as required
  • Act asSPA for managing the outsourced service providers that services theDubai office and act as relationship manager for Workplace onbehalf of Castrol, Aviation andT&S
  • Support BPME Board and the GeneralManagers as secretary to the Board and the GMs meeting, as well asprovide support and updates on GCD actions arising out of governingforum meetings.
  • Manage government relations andinteraction including immigration visa for employees and theirfamilies, commercial license for bp MiddleEast.
  • Administer and recommend policies,procedures and laws required to operate in accordance with thelocal law and regulations.
  • Manage the interfaceSLAs between JLL (office support staff), Engie (cleaning staff) andGlobal Link (Outsourced PRO services)
  • Run theDubai office and hosting bp aviation, Castrol and T&S, aswell as Indirect Procurement for all office needs, additionally actas SPA for interface management and liaising with PropertyManagement services for all buildingrequirements
  • Lead project management andinterface for any government matter that need interaction or bpaction and provide government affairs support to Non Operated JointVentures through SLAs.
  • Report regularly to thesenior management concerning updates of local procedures andpolicies and act as lead or input to specific projects for examplewill be the prime lead on Project Less(UAE)
  • Support regional CE&A forcommunications and events coordination specific to Dubai includingdeveloping effective communication and avenues in order to relaythe required information to the businesses and respective keypartners,
  • Manage in-country budget for publicand government affairs and maintain all legal files for CompanyGovernance

What You Will Need ToBe Successful

  • Higher education degree or equivalentexperience
  • UAE nationality with familybook
  • Fluency in Arabic and inEnglish
  • 7 years of experience inadministration, facilities management & government affairsand legal background and knowledge of the UAE and itsfunctions
  • Ability to interact at senior levelswithin BP and Government agencies, as well as strong negotiationskills
  • Structured, detail-orientedpersonality
  • Office Administration capabilitiesand Microsoft Office competence
  • Excellentproject management skills related to special projects, includingdeveloping project plans, budgets.
  • Very goodinterpersonal skills and ability to work in a matrixorganization
