About thejob

The purpose of thisrole is to design interactive experiences with all considerationgiven to the user and usability best practices and the balancing ofthose with business goals and technical capabilities. An ExperienceDesigner is a creative problem solver resolving any challenges auser may have with digital interactions through the use of bestpractises and proven methodology.

Keyresponsibilities:

  • Worksclosely with the Experience Design Director and the SeniorExperience Designer to produce quality UX work using sketchesinteraction models and user journeys whilst documenting thoseinteractions for visual designers and developers using prototypesor annotated wireframes as relevant.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams that include visualdesigners copywriters project managers strategists developers andQA.
  • Creatively supports the effective use oftechnology and its applications to solve businessproblems.
  • Contributes work to UX/UIdeliverables in new business pitches asneeded.
  • Drives defines and feeds back on:quality of briefs regular reviews feedback channels creativequality and collaboration.
  • Possesses workingknowledge of the creative processes and techniques especially asthey pertain to the UXdiscipline.
Qualifications
  • Relevantdegrees as Bachelors or Masters in fields like design interactiondesign graphic design computer science industrial designengineering.
  • User Testing:Proficiency in conducting user testing to validatedesigns.
  • FrontEndTechnologies: Familiarity with HTMLCSS andJavaScript.
  • DesignTools: Experience using tools likeFlinto Axure andInVision.
  • WebBasedTechnologies: Understanding of webbased technologies andtheir impact on design feasibility.
  • Previousexperience in product manfacturing industries is amust.
