Detailsof the Division and Team:

TheInvestment Manager is a primary point of contact for clients toaccess the entire suite of investment capabilities insights andsolutions offered by Deutsche Bank Wealth Management. This isachieved by working in close partnership with the RelationshipManager in the daytoday planning and servicing for theclient.

The individualleverages the insight and expertise of the Deutsche Bank WealthManagement Chief Investment Office and the global and regionalinvestment committees to provide advice around longterm thematicinvestment opportunities shortterm tactical trades and assetallocation. The Investment Manager employs a wide range of assetclasses and capabilities leveraging the knowledge from dedicateproduct specialists to address clients needs holistically includinglending and financing deposits discretionary and advisory portfoliomanagement solutions capital markets private markets alternativeinvestments and wealth planning. Investment Manager will haveaccountability for total investment AUM revenue asset retention andcontribution towards business mixgoals.

Yourkey responsibilities:

  • Actas the central point of contact for clients investment needs /advice and be responsible for increasing share of wallet fromexisting clients.
  • Partner up with theRelationship Manager to serve clients across a definedportfolio.
  • Serve as strategic advisor onclients overall investment portfolio and drive holisticportfolio
  • construction and asset allocationactivities delivering the CIO view to clients and ensuringportfolios are built and overseenaccordingly.
  • Assess clients overall riskappetite and keep client risk profiles uptodate and regularlyreviewed.
  • Responsible for execution of allinvestment trades and conduct portfolio reviews with assignedclients and relevant internal partners highlighting and fill anygaps where required.
  • Own overall suitabilityand appropriateness of all investments for the client; ensure thatall
  • corresponding checks areperformed.
  • Collaborate with the relationshipmanager on account behavior and flag relevant updates and on inputfor KYC.
  • Collaborate closely with key internalpartners including discretionary portfolio managers andDB
  • WMs entire range of product specialists todeliver the firms best capabilities solutions and investmentthinking.
  • Proactively identify needs andcorresponding opportunities to originate solutions across capitalmarkets discretionary mandates advisory mandates and alternativeinvestments
  • Proactively seek to manage andcontrol investment portfolio risks while maximizing financialreturns in line with regulations.
  • Support SubRegion Head in strategy execution i.e expanding the Global SouthAsia footprint through offshore and onshore collaboration.
  • Monitor clients asset allocation acrossinvestments and provide ideas for rebalancing across productspectrum based on CIO view.
  • Support theRelationship Managers in their new client acquisition effortsthrough participation in client pitches and showcasing DeutscheBank Wealth Management capabilities.
  • Act withinprofessional legal and ethical boundaries and guidelines observingall internal and external compliance regulations and code of ethicsand conduct; flagging and managing reputational risks and conflictsissues.

Yourskills and experience:

  • 8 ormore years of relevant investment experience of which min of 5years in wealth management
  • Proven experience inportfolio construction and asset allocation with knowledge andunderstanding of private clients and U/HNWI clientneeds.
  • Managing and/or advising on multiassetclass portfolios for clients across traditional and alternativeassets o pportunistic/ideadriveninvesting
  • Fluent in delivering a capital marketoutlook from both an investment strategists view (i.e. top down)and a managers view (i.e. bottom up) with the purpose ofarticulating why suggested allocations and solutions areappropriate for a given investment objective and marketenvironment.
  • Experienced and comfortable inleading investment discussions in oneonone meetings and smallgroups
  • Evidence of past success at building abusiness by attracting assets principally as a result of theability to quickly gain the confidence of aclient.
  • Fluent in discussing performanceattribution.
  • Have a good understanding of thegoverning regulatory framework including but not limited toapplicable confidentiality / secrecy / data protection regulationsand cross border rules where relevant.
  • Abilityto introduce existing client relationships aplus.
