Duties andResponsibilities

  1. Manage and lead UAE accounts team and India supportoffice to get the accounting transactions of all locations recordedinto the ERP on a real time basis complying UAE VAT and CorporateTax Requirements.
  2. Review the roles andresponsibilities of accounts team members on a continuous basis toassess the work load of each accounts staff give trainings anddevelop documents listing the responsibilities of each accountsstaff and work flows.
  3. Identify costs incurredfor group companies by each group company and coordinate with theresponsible persons to raise intercompany invoices on a monthlybasis to comply with co operate tax compliancerequirements.
  4. Review the existing agreementsand/or design new agreements/contracts for transactions with allrelated parties for tax compliance requirements.
  5. Handle the VAT compliance requirements for all companiesincluding filing of VAT returns in coordination with the accountsdepartment of the company and VAT consultants.
  6. Ensure that the inventories and the respective bill ofentries are always reconciled with UAE customs records by preparingmonthly reconciliation statements and periodic physicalverification.
  7. Keep track of all fixed assetsof the company by complying all customs/tax requirements and verifythe same by periodical physical verification.
  8. Keep updated with working knowledge of excel in anadvance level and train all accounts staff to apply the excelfunctions to all work related areas to the maximum extent possibleby exploring the potential areas for application of the excelfunctions/formulae.
  9. Handle the banking andpayroll functions and provide proper assistance and supports duringall types of audits of the Company.
  10. Learn andunderstand the ERP software of the company in a very advanced leveland give proper training and supports to all accounts staff on acontinuous basis.
  11. Identify potential areas ofimprovements in accounts department by properly utilizing the ERPand the support office of the company and introduce freshsystems/procedures/controls as may be required .
  12. Assist the Finance Manager of the company by preparingvarious financial and MISreports.
