As a professional in yourrole your responsibilities and essential job functions will includebut are not limitedto:

  • Oversee the dailyoperations of the hotel restaurant including staffing schedulingand coordination of tasks.
  • Collaborate with thehead chef to design and update the menu ensuring it reflectsauthentic and innovative Mediterranean dishes. Monitor food qualityand presentation.
  • Ensure efficient and smoothservice delivery to meet or exceed guestexpectations.
  • Monitor and manage restaurantinventory ordering supplies and controllingcosts.
  • Implement and enforce standard operatingprocedures to maintain consistency in service andquality.
  • Recruit train and supervise restaurantstaff fostering a positive and productive workenvironment.
  • Conduct performance evaluationsand provide constructive feedback to enhance staffperformance.
  • Schedule and manage staff shiftsto meet operational requirements and maintain appropriate staffinglevels.
  • Maintain a high standard of customerservice in both allday dining and IRD sections. addressing guestconcerns and ensuring a positive diningexperience.
  • Handle guest feedback and resolveissues promptly to ensure a positive diningexperience.
  • Train staff in customer serviceprinciples emphasizing guest satisfaction andretention.
  • Implement strategies to enhancecustomer engagement and loyalty.
  • Monitor andmanage the budget for allday dining and IRD controlling expensesand maximizing profitability.
  • Analyze financialreports identify trends and implement strategies for cost reductionand revenue enhancement.
  • Ensure compliance withfinancial policies and procedures.
  • Collaboratewith the culinary team to plan and develop menus for allday diningand IRD considering guest preferences and industrytrends.
  • Monitor menu performance and makeadjustments based on feedback and salesdata.
  • Ensure proper communication of menuchanges to staff and guests.
  • Enforce health andsafety regulations ensuring compliance with food safety standardsin allday dining and IRD.
  • Conduct regularinspections to identify and address potential safetyhazards.
  • Implement training programs to promotea culture of safety among restaurantstaff.
  • Develop and implement marketingstrategies to attract and retain customers for allday dining andIRD.
  • Plan and execute promotional events todrive traffic and increase revenue.
  • Utilizesocial media and other channels to promote the restaurantsofferings.

Ideally youshould possess some or all the following qualifications andexperience:

  • Preferablecandidates with PreOpening Hotelexperience.
  • Proven experience as a RestaurantManager or similar role in a highend restaurant preferably with afocus on Mediterranean cuisine.
  • Strongknowledge of Mediterranean culinary traditions andingredients.
  • Proven experience in restaurantmanagement preferably in a hotelsetting.
  • Strong leadership and organizationalskills.
  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills.
  • Financial acumen andability to analyze financialreports.
  • Customerfocused with a passion fordelivering exceptional service.
  • Familiaritywith pointofsale (POS) systems and restaurant managementsoftware.
  • Knowledge of health and safetyregulations and food safety standards.
  • Creativemindset with the ability to contribute to menu planning anddevelopment.
  • Problemsolving skills and abilityto handle challenging situationsdiplomatically.
  • Flexibility to work eveningsweekends and holidays as required by the operational needs of therestaurant.
