As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the all-day dining and in-room dining (IRD) areas in the hotel's food and beverage department.
Ensure efficient and smooth service delivery, maintaining high standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the kitchen for timely food preparation.
Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage staff, including servers, runners, and room service attendants.
Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials, promotions, and operational updates.
Schedule and manage staff shifts to meet operational needs and maintain optimal service levels.
Provide training to staff on service standards, menu knowledge, and guest interaction.
Ensure a high level of customer service in all F&B outlets, addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
Foster a guest-centric culture among staff, emphasizing a personalized and memorable dining experience.
Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance overall satisfaction.
Assist in monitoring and controlling food and beverage costs, including inventory management and wastage control.
Implement upselling techniques and promotional strategies to maximize revenue.
Work with management to develop and achieve financial targets.
Maintain a thorough understanding of the all-day dining and IRD menus to assist guests with selections.
Promote menu items and special offerings to increase sales and guest engagement.
Collaborate with the culinary team on menu development and promotions.
Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards.
Facilitate staff training on safety protocols and hygiene practices.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Communicate effectively with all team members to relay important information and maintain a cohesive work environment.
Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:
Preferable candidates with Pre-Opening Hotel experience.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a hotel setting.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and food and beverage software.
Familiarity with health and safety regulations and food safety standards.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
