ROLESUMMARY

The Keyaccount Manager: Support internal stakeholders with forecasting orexpected orders from key accounts. Provide analysis understandingof business potential and situation Vs competitors. Identifiesrisks & opportunities and work with Xfunctions to put plansto maximize AZ business accordingly including generic threats.Participate with the crossfunctional team to drive early andaccelerated access of AZ brands into formularies. Generate monthlyanalysis reports of stocks demand sales Vs budget performanceopportunities & challenges & recommended actions.The Key account manager should have excellent negotiation skillscan easily handle difficult discussions and able to reach anagreement with all typesstakeholders

Whatyoull do

Key AccountsManagement

  • Stakeholderidentification mapping & management for major accounts andinstitutions.
  • Able to develop strongcontact/relationships with key stakeholders & influencersin Key Accounts.
  • Collect information on trendspriorities and needs of the accounts andinstitutions.
  • Work with the commercial teamsto identify & execute key activities to drive salesperformance of brands.
  • Work collaborativelywith Xfunctions to ensure enlisting of our Strategic Brands onformularies.
  • Provide analysis understanding ofbusiness potential and situation Vscompetitors.
  • Identifies risks &opportunities and work with Xfunctions to put plans to maximize AZbusiness accordingly including genericthreats.
  • Able to communicate the valueproposition for AZ Products to keyStakeholders.
  • Follow up on the tender contractand all the relatedprocesses.

StakeholderManagement

  • Support internalstakeholders with forecasting or expected orders from keyaccounts.
  • Followon the stocks & orderslevels to all AZ Brands on regular basis with purchasing &relevant departments to ensure the sustained supply of AZ Productsto Patients.
  • Generate monthly analysis reportsof stocks demand sales Vs budget performance opportunities& challenges & recommendedactions.
  • Maintain and develop supply chainexcellence: ensure uninterrupted stock availability of all AZbrands in medical stores/hospital pharmacies.
  • Monitor the supply Vs actual demand assist hospitals in properforecast and orderingtimelines.

MarketAccess

  • Understand issues/trends/ needs arising from Government/ key accounts/ and otherpolicy makers/influencers and the impact onAZ.
  • Support crossfunctional team to executemarket access plans for AZ portfolio.
  • Cancommunicate a brand value story to relevantstakeholders.
  • Participate with thecrossfunctional team to drive early and accelerated access of AZbrands into formularies.
  • Build professionalrelationship with payer and SH that develop into collaborativepartnerships.
  • Able to followup and support inmarket access activities and leverage on such strategies withrelevant stakeholders.

Supply and Stock Management

  • Support internal stakeholders with forecasting or expected ordersfrom key accounts.
  • Followon the stocks& orders levels to all AZ Brands on regular basis withpurchasing & relevant departments to ensure the sustainedsupply of AZ Products to Patients.
  • Generatemonthly analysis reports of stocks demand sales Vs budgetperformance opportunities & challenges &recommended actions.
  • Maintain and developsupply chain excellence: ensure uninterrupted stock availability ofall AZ brands in medical stores/hospitalpharmacies.
  • Monitor the supply Vs actualdemand assist hospitals in proper forecast and orderingtimelines.

Negotiation

  • Able to buildsolid relations with all types of internal and externalstakeholders.
  • Excellent negotiation skills caneasily handle difficult discussions and able to reach an agreementwith all types stakeholders.
  • Able to reachconsensus and achieve winwin arguments.
  • Haveexcellent presentation skills highly influential in delivering themessage.

CorporateResponsibilities:

  • Maintainhighest ethical standards and work in a spirit of AstraZeneca Codeof Ethics following rules & norms set by corporatepolicies
  • Ensure that all conducted activitiesare done in accordance with local legislation and corporatestandards.
  • Timely report (as per respectiveprocedures): health/environment/wellbeing related accidents;adverse events that you became aware about; change in status ofyour Conflict of Interest.

Essential for the role

  • Minimum of three years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales ofwhich one year is required within AstraZeneca with a strong trackrecord Met Objectives or valued performance for Sales & NonSales performance
  • Welldeveloped communicationskills. Good command of written and spokenEnglish.
  • Proven experience of KOL Managementand Development
  • Forecasting skills &experience
  • Proven experience of managingpurchasers/ important stakeholders
  • Priorinvolvement in projects & majoractivities
  • Proven experience of managing KeyAccounts successfully
  • UAE Pharma Marketexperience is an addition
  • Eligible to obtain aUAE work permit
  • Bachelors in Medical orScience related field

Desirable for the role

  • Preferable prior experience in multinationalpharmaceutical/equivalent companies.
  • Knowledgeof AZ organizational structure and key internalcustomers.
  • Effective use of key softwareproducts (Eg. Excel PowerPointWord)
