Job Summary:

This role will be responsible for thedaytoday support of all Microsoft *Windows Servers within theclient environment performing troubleshooting and resolvingincidents.
  • Work with 3rd partyvendors subcontractors and support teams to effectively support theenvironment and achieve SLAs.
  • Maintain serviceavailability in excess of 99.5%.
  • Create andmaintain relevant server support documentation.
  • Provide input into change control projectplanning and BC/DR activities.
  • Performgeneral Wintel support duties and schedule maintenance tasks asrequired.
  • Adhere to change control create andimplement changes as required to maintain the environment andensure stability of the Microsoft Windows Server environment andsupported Microsoft services.
  • Assist withprojects as required. Some projects may require afterhourwork.

Responsibilities:

Support (Identify troubleshoot and resolveincidents) all Microsoft Windows Server operating systems:
  • Identify troubleshoot and resolve thecause of BSOD.

  • Ability tounderstand and create complex scripts (Ansible PowerShell VBSPython).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to accurately perform RCA on resolvedincidents and problems and provide best practice permanentsolutions to avoid recurrences.
  • Ability tosuccessfully demonstrate proficiency in at least 95% of technicalknowledge requirements and perform 100% of key responsibilities.
