JobSummary:

To effectively manage the Dubai GolfMarketing & Communications department. Responsible for allinternal and external communications branding and promotionsincluding media liaison. Management of the Marketing functionthrough taking a lead role in developing and managing service basedpartnerships and business relationships with commercial golf andrelated businesses for the benefit of the companys strategic aims.Ensuring that a strategic approach is taken to marketing andbusiness development analyzing current market trends and advisingthe Senior Management on future revenue generating and improvementopportunities.

PrincipalAccountabilities
  • Prepare and managethe company sales and marketing budget and plan working across bothclubs to maximize revenue potential and market share both locallyand internationally benchmarking against the competition wherenecessary.
  • Development of the marketingbusiness development strategies and plans closely working withinternal stakeholders to ensure that strategies are consistent withdepartmental objectives.
  • Responsibility forsponsorship strategy and activity throughout the two clubsincluding liaison with internal stakeholders within the GolfOperations F&B and Marinadepartments.
  • Management of the Marketing andCommercial teams in order to streamline activities ensure costefficiencies and increase productivity.
  • Developcorporate branding standards in conjunction with IHP (In housepublishing) and/or an advertising agency including the design andproduction of all company collateral advertising and promotionalmaterials.
  • Manage the companys website withregular updates on the content management in coordination withrelevant departments.
  • Management of mediarelations for Dubai Golf including approval of all mediacommunications providing reports on monthly mediacoverage.
  • Management of the company databasesincluding press and customers to maximize ecommunications andCRM.
  • Promotion of a common vision and ownershipof values and strategic objectives with all externalpartners.
Operations
  • Workclosely alongside relevant internal departments to ensureobjectives are aligned.
  • Produce a strategicplan for each club and update at weekly managementmeetings.
  • Play a key role in the developmentand implementation of a membership strategy across both clubsfocusing on member activities andretention.
  • Manage and organize photography forthe clubs as and when required within company budgets pluscommunicate with all relevant departments when film/photo shootstake place around theclub.
Financial
  • Managementand control of the Marketing & PR budgets for bothclubs.
Staffing Training &Development
  • Ensure that headcountsare kept within agreed budget levels and that the Human Resourcesdepartment is involved at all times.
  • Liaisewith Director Human Resources to ensure recruitment jobdescriptions training and performance/conduct related issues aremanaged professionally consistently andfairly.
  • Ensure all new employees receive aninduction program and that all new and existing staff have therequired skills and knowledge to carry out theirduties.
  • To deliver onandoff job training asrequired ensuring that all training is recorded and copies sent tothe Human Resources department to be added to the trainingdatabase.
Quality & RelatedMeasures
  • Maintain standards asoutlined within the Quality Policy document and Clubs operationsManual.
  • Achievement of qualitygoals.
  • Compliance with the statement of values.This may include periodical audits and datacollections.
  • Continuously evaluates thefinancial and operational performance of the department through theanalysis of daily sales reports monthend accounts and membersfeedback and employee appraisals.
  • Aware ofDubai Golf Mission Vision and Values. Will be responsible to applythe 4 Service Steps throughout serving internal and externalcustomers.
AncillaryDuties

In line with the Clubs strive forcontinuous improvement you may be requested to participate invarious extra activities contributing towards individuals andorganizational growth.

Represent the company invarious external meetings.

IT SecurityAwareness
  1. Read Understand and complywith all applicable Information Security Policies and Procedures ofwasl.
  2. Cooperate coordinate and shareinformation with Internal/External Audit teams as appropriate andapplicable.
  3. Attend Information SecurityAwareness sessions conducted by the wasl ITDepartment.
  4. All Information Security breachesevents weaknesses incidents (actual or suspected breaches) shall beimmediately reported to the IT ServiceDesk.
Requirements:
  • Arabicspeaking is a must as this is very tial for thisposition.
  • Masters or Bachelors Degree inBusiness Management or Marketing.
  • Ability tocommunicate at all levels with excellent writingskills.
  • Good interpersonal skills &leadership skills as well as a teamplayer.
