KeyResponsibilities

As a LogisticsCoordinator you will be expectedto:

  • Creation of Shipping doents suchas Bill of Entry Invoice & Packing Listetc.
  • Negotiation and booking with ShippingAgents / Freight Forwarders.
  • Coordinate andlead all aspects of the daily transportation and shippingoperations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams andexternal partners to streamline logisticsprocesses.
  • Plan and track shipments accordingto customer requirements.
  • Handle and supervisepacking and loading activities.
  • Ensure thetimely and detailed of logistics plans.
  • SupportSales team with Shipping estimates andquotes.
  • Calculate and provide containerquantity requirements for each project
  • SupportProject Manager with doentation submission asrequired
  • Support Procurement officer withdoentation preparation as required
  • Maintainaccurate records of shipment details ensuring all data is closelymonitored and uptodate.
  • Trouble and resolve anylogistical issues that arise ensuring a seamless flow ofoperations.
  • Monitor and yze performance metricsto determine areas for improvement.
  • Prepare andpresent reports on logistics performance to senior management andfinance team on monthlybasis
Requirements

Tobe successful in this role you shouldhave:

  • Proven experience in logisticscoordination preferably within the transportation/shippingindustry.
  • A strong understanding of logisticssoftware and tools.
  • Outstanding organizationaland multitasking ss.
  • Excellent communicationand interpersonal abilities with a collaborativeapproach.
  • The ability to strictly adhere todeadlines and manage time effectively.
  • Aproactive and effective approach toproblemsolving.
  • Proficiency in English;additional languages are advantageous.
  • A degreein Logistics Supply Chain Management or a related field orequivalent experience ispreferred.
