Job Description: Logistics and ProcurementOfficer

We are seeking a highly skilled andexperienced Logistics and Procurment Coordinator to join ourcompany. As a company specializing in all types of carpets rubberflooring wood parquet vinyl deckingcarpet tiles fabrics curtainsaccessories office furniture lighting rugs etc sourced from ChinaTurkey Europe and the US we require an individual who is wellversedin endtoend logistics processes and procurement strategies. Thesuccessful candidate will play a vital role in optimizing ouroperational efficiency and costeffectiveness by developing andimplementing strategic procurement and logistics plans aligned withcompanyobjectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeand coordinate import/export activities including shipping and airfreight operations.
  • Ensure compliance with allrelevant regulations and requirements governing customsprocedures.
  • Facilitate the documentation andpaperwork necessary for international shipments including customsdeclarations.
  • Identify and cultivate freightforwarders specific to each country to establish an efficient andcosteffective logistics supply chain fostering a robust supplychain and optimizing logisticaloperations.

Establish and maintainstrong relationships with key suppliers negotiating contracts andterms to ensure favorable pricing quality and ontimedelivery.

  • Collaborate with internalteams and external partners to streamline logistics processes andoptimize efficiency.
  • Monitor shipment schedulestrack shipments and address any issues or delays that mayarise.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipmentscustoms documentation and other logisticsrelatedinformation.
  • Stay informed about changes inimport/export regulations and industry trends to ensure complianceand best practices.
  • Provide excellent customerservice and support to internal stakeholders and external partnersthroughout the logisticsprocess.

Monitor inventory levels andimplement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levelsand minimize holding costs.

Prepare alldocumentations such as purchase orders (PO) supplier invoices andinventory forms accurately and in a timelymanner.

Requirements:

Bachelorsdegree in business administration supply chain management logisticsor a related field.

Proven work experience as aLogistics and Purchase Coordinator or a similar role in theflooring furnishings industry is highlypreferred.

Indepth knowledge of endtoendlogistics processes and procurementstrategies.

Strong negotiation skills with theability to establish and maintain relationships withsuppliers.

Excellent communication. Verbal andwritten

Proficient in conducting market researchand analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and costsavings.

Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize taskseffectively.

Strong analytical and problemsolvingabilities to identify and implement processimprovements.

Familiarity with inventorymanagement techniques and ERP software.Should be proficient in MSOffice.

Ability to work well under pressure andmeet tight deadlines.

Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders andexternal suppliers.

Attention to detail andaccuracy in preparing documentation such as purchase orderssupplier invoices and inventory forms.
