Supervisor - Anesthesia Technican

Qualifications

Required:

• High Schooldiploma
• At least 3-5 years of experience inenvironmental service, Operating Room procedures, general OperatingRoom equipment and anesthesia equipment
  

Preferred

• Cell Saver and Platelet Sequestrationexperience preferred
• At least 3 years ofsupervisory experience in a healthcare, hotel, or anesthesiatechnicians preferred.
• Cell Saver and PlateletSequestration experience preferred

EssentialFunctions

• The Supervisor of Clinical AnesthesiaTechnician will oversee the daily operation and functioning of theAnesthesia Technicians throughout the hospital, including theacquisition & obtaining of anesthesia supplies andequipment necessary for the AnesthesiaDepartment,
• The Supervisor will work withAnesthesia leadership to determine how to best serve our patientsand hospital,
• Will create staff schedule basedon the needs of the hospital, and ensure payroll is complete forall Anesthesia Techs
• Responsible for dailytasks of scheduling, assigning duties, recruiting in collaborationwith Director/Manager, and training,
• Ensuresthat staff has kept all the equipment clean andorganize,
• Collaborates with biomedical and ORequipment technician for proper care, cleaning, handling andstorage of all equipment in the OR and off-sitelocations,
• Reviews purchases and otheroperating expenses in collaboration withDirector/Manager,
• Assists in conductingevaluation of new products to promote quality patient care, as wellas cost containment,
