We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anesthesia Supervisor to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Anesthesia Technicians, ensuring the smooth functioning of the Anesthesia Department, and providing exceptional patient care.

• Department Oversight: Supervise and manage the daily activities of Anesthesia Technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Staff Management: Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled Anesthesia Technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
• Equipment Management: Collaborate with biomedical and OR equipment technicians to ensure the proper care, cleaning, handling, and storage of all equipment in the OR and off-site locations.
• Financial Management: Review and approve purchases and operating expenses in collaboration with the Director/Manager, ensuring cost containment and quality patient care.
• Quality Improvement: Assist in conducting evaluations of new products to promote quality patient care and cost containment.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in environmental service, Operating Room procedures, general Operating Room equipment, and anesthesia equipment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Cell Saver and Platelet Sequestration experience, at least 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare, hotel, or anesthesiologist technician setting.
