Role Purpose

This role will lead the establishment and execution of the S&OP processes for the UAE business and also be responsible for Demand & Supply Planning of category assigned for Middle East customers.

Your Tasks

S&OP Planning

  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and FG to identify shortages and corrective actions.
  • Execute all facets of S&OP are in pace, to achieve business strategic and operational plans.
  • Work with cross-stakeholders marketing, sales, supply chain & finance to agree on consensus forecast agree upon.
  • Ensure gaps and overlaps are addressed, scenarios are completed.
  • Escalation of signal at correct interval to pro-actively take business decision.
  • Prepare all data and metrics for review, identify gaps and scenarios that must be presented, guiding final decision making and open items.
  • Work with stakeholder to provide gap fill activities.
  • Analyze demand forecast and highlight risk and opportunities.


Demand & Supply Planning (of the category assigned)

  • Forecasting demand by analyzing sales data and market trends.
  • Managing optimum inventory levels to prevent any OOS or excess inventory.
  • Coordinating with PC/3PM/Hub Supply planners for ontime and infull NPDs and Relaunches.
  • Provide visibility for stock availability across all skus at M+6 level.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain performance and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Identifying potential risks to the supply chain, such as supplier disruptions, transportation delays, or fluctuations in demand, and taking proactive measures to mitigate Service level risks.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting- Generating regular reports to track key metrics and communicate performance to stakeholders.


Innovations and Forecasting

  • Integrate innovations in activity and demand review.
  • Monitoring and planning of innovations by channel with key deliverables.
  • Analyze supply and demand issues and facilitate resolution throughout the supply chain.
  • Leading and delivering forecast cycles for business planning.
Your Profile
  • Education: Bachelor from an accredited university with a focus on Management, Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a planning (demand/supply) and customer service within an FMCG company.
  • Language: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications with an emphasis on advanced Excel. Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and rigorous accuracy.
  • Good understanding of business processes.
  • Ability to timely resolve problems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Team worker and able to work autonomously.
