Business Development and Strategy Manager Dubai | Vereinigte Arabische Emirate (AE) | Full-time | Permanent
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Development and Strategy Manager to join our global team at STADA, a leading manufacturer of high-quality pharmaceuticals. The candidate should have a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry and a comprehensive understanding of the global market. This role will be based in our STADA office in Dubai and will report to the Head of Gulf.
As the Business Development and Strategy Manager for Gulf countries, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities both internally and externally. They will possess a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry within the region, including market trends and statistical analysis, as well as a knowledge of key business functions such as market access, business development, marketing, regulatory affairs, and pricing. Additionally, experience in specialty and consumer healthcare (CHC) products is preferred.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in sales and marketing of prescription products across different therapeutic areas, CHC products. Analytics background (IQVIA or similar) in a medium to large sized reputable organization/s. In-depth understanding of the MENA markets to develop appropriate portfolio growth strategies. Experience in Microsoft Office
Skills:
Strategic thinker Innovative, able to drive multiple simultaneous initiatives Ability to work under pressure. Excellent analytical skills and be able to quickly grasp market and financial data in order to process business case-driven recommendations. Excellent leadership, managerial, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills are necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Goal-oriented, focused, energetic, enthusiastic. Process-oriented.

Analysing the corporate pipeline to identify potential projects/products that fit STADA MENA\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio strategy. Evaluating project/product opportunities initiated by Global Portfolio Management. Liaising with commercial and marketing leads Providing reliable analysis. Submitting business cases, and managing the post-submission evaluation/execution process by leading cross-functional teams with portfolio, technical development, finance, IP/legal, regulatory, and marketing. Defining and executing the portfolio strategy in line with the company\'s geo-expansion strategy, managing and leading multiple complex projects with limited supervision, active membership of the STADA Business Development community. Tracking all relevant information for monthly business reviews.
Education:
MBA, master\xe2\x80\x99s degree and/or Post Graduate Diploma in Sales Management, Marketing, or a related field from a reputable university will be an advantage
