We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable LNG Technology Manager to join
our team. As the LNG Technology Manager, you will play a crucial role as a Corporate Manager,
providing technical leadership and support to various ongoing LNG projects. You will work closely with the Process Engineering team, overseeing FEED and detailed design activities, and collaborating with international licensors and internal license providers from Client side to ensure robust support for LNG technology matters. Your extensive process experience and deep expertise in LNG technology will be instrumental in driving successful project execution and ensuring adherence to industry best practices and standards. This position requires a minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Licensors and License Providers Collaboration
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with international licensors and
    internal license providers to ensure effective collaboration and technical support.
  • Coordinate technical discussions and negotiations related to technology licensing
    agreements, including key performance guarantees.
  • Lead and participate in technical feasibility studies for new LNG projects, providing
    valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and improvement within LNG projects,
    proposing innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.

Technical Leadership and Support:

  • Apply technical knowledge to enhance project performance and efficiency.
  • As Contractor, provide technical leadership and guidance to the Process Engineering
    team throughout the project lifecycle, including conceptual, FEED and detailed design
    stages.
  • Monitor Process engineering development for the core Process and all associated
    utilities & offsites specific to LNG facilities, including: Gas Pre-treatment and
    purification, Boil-off gas estimation and management, LNG Storage and Loading,
    Depressurization and Blowdown calculations, special operating scenarios setup.
  • Collaborate with engineering disciplines to ensure technical integrity, safety, and
    reliability of LNG projects; with special consideration of cold climate and tense suppliers
    market conditions.
  • Support engineering disciplines in the definition and selection of special static & rotating equipment, instruments and material. Anticipate technical weaknesses in Vendors
    design and identify ways forward to solve.
  • Conduct technical reviews and evaluations of LNG projects, providing technical assessments and recommendations to client and senior management. Actively contribute in Design and Safety reviews.

LNG Technology Expertise Enhancement:

  • Brings a concrete operational experience into the design. Also supports Site activities
    during Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up and Operation phases. Collect and
    implement the lessons learned.
  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination across the organization,
    fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Enhance the Process team
    technical knowledge and crystalize competences within the department. Deliver
    technical notes and guidelines.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on LNG technology matters, keeping up-to-date with
    the latest industry developments, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure that all LNG projects comply with relevant industry good practices and
    regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in LNG technology and process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Strong technical leadership abilities, with a track record of successfully managing and supporting LNG projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of LNG process technologies, liquefaction processes, and associated
    facilities.
  • Familiarity with international licensors and LNG technology providers.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects
    simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with
    diverse stakeholders.
  • Robust understanding of industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards related to LNG projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering. 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in LNG technology and process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
